From an earlier post.... the bold part was Scott, but it screwed it up and the underlined part was mine, but we basically had the same crap......

March 13, 1993. Remember it well. We had almost 3 feet here (33" IIRC) with drifts 6-10 feet deep in places from the 60+ mph winds. And it all came down in about 12 hours, then the temp dropped to around 0. Not to mention the massive amount of trees that were downed. Biggest mess I have ever seen. We were out of power for over 2 weeks, which also meant we were out of water from the well.

It was basically a hurricane that collided with an arctic cold front. Never seen anything like it in the South, and probably never will again.

Edit:

We also had some thundersnow in that storm we had a couple weeks ago when we got a foot.
Last year was the most we've had since then,,,,

Pretty much the most I've ever seen in the south until last year, had over a foot last year....

I think that was about 3 inches in one day. And it only snowed that day. In 10 years.

Not that I would ever do that, or have anything like that, I'm a normal down to earth guy, but I'd like to be able to if I wanted to some day.

That sounds really effed up, what is the car doing exactly?
well, essentially...it doesnt always start like it's supposed to. If it's cold, and hasnt run in a while, it's fine, and starts normal. If i've just run it, like going to the gas station, stop it, and try to restart shortly thereafter (and sometimes after it's been sitting for a bit) it will turn over once like normal, and then die off, you can hear it hitting on one cylinder at a time two or three times, then dies. Occasionally that popping from it dying out turns into a really f'n loud backfire. It seems to run fine once started, but my car is loud enough as it is, the backfire scares the everloving hell out of people, and I never know when it's going to happen.

Sweet pics Jill. I want to go see the Grand Canyon and ride down the Colorado River. I think that would be awesome. Vegas would just get me into trouble though
