And that was the first time I saw the Cardinals win the World Series on HDTV. Incredible! Man I don't know how those guys stand the pressure - esp at the beginning! You can see them taking deep breaths trying to mellow the adrenaline. Heck I was having adrenalin rushes on the couch - I'd probably pass out at the plate! lol

Beautiful day, 60 degrees, not a cloud in the sky. Decided to take the 500 out for a cruise and it reminded me that its easy to get complacent in something that is so docile and refined during normal driving.
Had been riding around some 2 lane back roads for about 30 minutes and came to an intersection. Made a left and the road was straight and empty ahead, so I rolled out in 1st up to about 4000 and pulled it back in 2nd and decided to get on it a little. I didn't just mat the throttle, but rolled into it smoothly and quickly to the floor. It shoved me back into the seat and I was getting that rush you feel when all of a sudden at about 55 or so, it came UNGLUED and started coming around sideways. Gathered it back up quickly, but it scared the **** out of me for a second.
Amazing how much of a HP bump this thing gets in this cool air. Just have to remember to stay on your toes and not let your guard down, because this snake will bite you quickly if you don't show it some respect.
