1983 dodge Ramcharger 318 v8 4x4. Appears to have a 4 in lift and 33x12.50x15 tires. Bought it for 3500. Its in great condition. Interior is **** near brand new. Almost no rust other then some surface rust on the hood. 122K miles. I'm happy with it.

Sure its only 122? My 83 odometer reads 53k. But its 253k.

And I'm remembering it has one of those starters that sound like a worn out sewing machine the 318 was famous for.

Can't be 100% but the odometer does go to the hundred thousands. It could be faked but I doubt it. You never know though.
And yea, that's about what the starter sounds like

Just giving you a hard time. I still see them all the time.

Very much like a Blazer or Bronco except the back roof was not removable.

And I think they made some 2 wheel drive ones. But I'm not sure.

They did make some 2wd ones. What I wanted was bronco but couldn't find one this nice in my price range.

lol thought you'd get a kick out of that.

Back in HS (early 70's) my friend had a 2+2 289. They had a big family so his dad had an Eldo (first time I ever saw fwd burnouts), and the mom had this huge Dodge extended van with that 318 and that wimpy starter motor. It seemed to have a number of repairs whereas the Mustang was always dependable. So the joke was 'that dam Dodge'!

Now, whenever Schumacher beats JFR, you can hear me yell 'that dam Dodge!'.

All because of that 318 starter.

Damm telemarketing bastards blowing the home phone up all day. Wish I could just track one of these guys down. Old school phone whip would be great.

Man I nailed it this last week! All before the big storm hit!

Got enough firewood scrounged up so I could put the camper shell back on Wednesday evening.
Put the final wrap on picking up stuff and putting away on Thurs and in classic tradition, the last thing was putting the final two hoses in the shed at dark.
Built a huge fire, enjoyed an extended happy hour in celebration, slept in till 10. Woke up with 4-5" of snow and snowing hard.

Got it done in the nick of time!!

I'm right here. Gotta change the oil in the GT and finish putting the christmas lights on the roof before the snow comes tomorrow. Only two hours left of daylight.
