Looks good. I didn't do **** today. Or yesterday for that matter. I did go for a drive in the 500 yesterday. Got several compliments, I swear this car gets attention like you wouldn't believe. Every time you stop somewhere people want to look at it, take pics, talk about it, etc. Kind of the exact opposite of the type of person I am.

I hate attention, I like to stay under the radar. I actually thought that this car would be less flashy and not draw the attention that the SGT did with the bright silver stripes and chrome wheels. But I was wrong. This freakin' thing draws people like a moth to a flame. And not just car guys, but the whole spectrum of people. Men, women, little kids, you name it. Even people that you can tell aren't "car people" are drawn to it. It's like they know it's not "just a Mustang" (and I've heard that exact phrase) but something different or (and I hate to use the word and come off as arrogant) "special". I can't even begin to count the women who have pointed at the snake emblem and told their kid or spouse "look, that one's a Cobra".
Love or hate Shelby, but I honestly think that nomenclature on a car is just as recognized through the world as Coca-Cola is on a drink or Levi's is on clothing. It seems that everyone is familiar with the name and/or the snake emblem, and realize it signifies something out of the ordinary. It's got cache up the ying-yang baby! Ford scored a hell of a hit by licensing that, brilliant marketing, love or hate the name.

On another note, I think these guys are probably the most underrated band of the era, especially if you've ever seen them live.

A prime example of their live presence and ability....

Of course I'm sure Jill is the only one that will see where I'm coming from since we seem to have some of the same tastes. Everyone else can just disregard, and continue on missing out on some great ****. The guitar player reminds me of Sean.

I don't care for the mans name on a car he had nothing to do with.
I know all about him. I would separate the Legend from the current man. That's just me. Maybe the man is outliving the Legend in my eyes.
