Sadly, it actually was.

At this point, I really don't think I need it anyway. It would probably just get me accused of being a poon hound.

Finally getting around to putting up some pics from our riding weekend. Has anyone seen these wind turbines up close? They are much bigger than I thought. I think each blade is 80ft

Those windmills are impressive. I drove my cobra home from Milwaukee through Illinois and Missouri. I had to stop and see them. Had no idea they were that that huge.

The pics don't really show how big they are in person. And the blades are much slower than I thought they would be. We saw they had them in Maui when we went last year but they were too far away to realize how big they were.

The ones in Illinois were really big. And it was when all that bad weather was sweeping through last june. So they were moving pretty good. That's some power when they are really spinning.

Yes, pics don't translate the true enormity of them at all. I've seen them in a lot of places, but can't find any more pics right now other than this one, and I can't remember if it was in South Dakota, Nebraska, or Wyoming. I'd have to dig through folders in the other computer to be sure.

Cool pics Jill!

I've seen them scattered all over minnesota. I know there's some on my way up north and lots more farther south. They actually have one of the blades standing up at the state fair and yes, they're huge!

Gotta give a shoutout to hometown boy John Taylor and the USC Gamecocks for going back to back winning the College World Series, and setting the NCAA record for going undefeated in the postseason!

Well at least the team that beat UVA won. At least Va can say they got beat by the champs. Even if is was twice congrats to them though. They are a great team and the game against UVA was awesome.

Don't care much for spiders, and I hate those big hairy ones that like to build a web right in front of the door so you walk into it when you go out in the dark.

Just finished making room in the garage for the Vert. So now all 4 of my girls are inside with El Diablo and OJ out on the driveway.

Found a dead bird in the garage. That was gross. Somethingnhad ate it and left a lot of poop behind. It left the feathers and beak and head in tact but the guts were gone. Not looking forward to finding what ate it.
