That's a good idea Ed. Check the fluid twice Sean. Make sure its not low sitting in idle with a warm engine. My Bronco was like that and I topped it off and now its fine. There's a cross hatch area on the tranny dip stick and I wen to the high side of that, FULL, and now she shifts better than ever.

what's burnt fluid look like?
It still looks pink, but it's also clearly got a shade of brown to it. The more burnt, the browner it is.

New stuff is red. Older stuff is pink. If it has brown in it, change it.
