Hi guys! Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was busy....husband was away...so it was a chick flick with the girls Saturday night. Then yesterday, one of the guys my husband went riding with tore up his knee while riding. So, I spent most of the day with his wife, keeping her company at our local hospital until they decided the injury was too complicated for them and transported him to MD's Shock Trauma Center and we didn't get home from there until about midnight. He totally f'd up his knee, his knee cap was displaced (which he put back in place himself.........OUCH!!!! I can't even imagine doing that) and he has 2 fractures at the top of the tibia which they did surgery on today with plates and screws. They weren't able to fix everything they wanted with the surgery today so they may do another one in a couple of days...so he's still in the hospital and we aren't sure how long it will be before he gets out. I feel so bad for him, they say he won't be able to put any pressure on it for at least 3 months and it's his right leg, so he won't be able to drive for a long, long time.

That would really suck. I hope he gets better soon. I can't imagine not being able to drive for such a long time.

You know, the usual charges that Politiccians get when they are suspicious of manhandling Goverment money or shady methods of obtaining campaign money in exchange of favors to big Corporations, among others, but basically the usual stuff that goes to light on election year.
Can't wait for the pix

That's what I figured. I'm not too worried about it though, we got more than our money's worth out of it. Sell the wheels and new tires, toolbox, seats, battery, and take the rest to a junkyard and get $600-700 for it.

my uncle suggested throwing in a stroked 350 to a 383 and taking it to the track and having the ultimate sleeper, seriously doubt it'll happen

Very sweet pics. Best looking 2.3L NA Notch in the U.S.

I hate front license plate states. Why do they make us do it? Well I know why, but a few lawbreakers mees it up for the rest of us.

I have no idea how much she's worth, but I don't ever plan on selling anyways. I wouldn't even trade for a brand new KR. lol I originally paid my uncle $750 for it, and have put several thousand into it over the past couple years. There's a little over 120,000 miles right now, and she still runs pretty good. Starts every time. *fingers crossed* There's still a lot to do, but I'm gonna try to save up some money over the winter.

I only asked what you think she is worth, because a car like that is truly worth more than what people say it should be. For one thing it is a survivor that has been well taken care of. The Bronco is supposed to be worth $5 or $6k, but to me its worth more than that, and I haven't had it that long. I am very hesitant to overly modify the Bronco because I feel as though I have saved it from becoming a hunting truck or worse. Broncos are special to me and this one was in good shape already so maybe I should at least make my mods reversible. I don't know what to do.
