I remember when my dad did that once. We were gonna build this big fort like these people made down the road, but we never got around to it.
Maybe if I get bored, I'll try it this year.
Speaking of snow, I should start putting up the lights in a couple weeks. One year I had most of them up by halloween. ![Icon Mrgreen](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

I'm back home finally, it's been an awesome day. Went to the gun show, saw alot I liked, M1911's to be specific. I saw a gold plated Desert Eagle. It was in a case so you couldnt pick it up, but it looks like that thing woulda weighed alot! My uncle bought a smaller gun to wear for CCW. Pretty nice, and a great price. Then we started working on my old pickup, I'll post some pics tomorrow that'll make you boys about sick to your stomach. But it's working on a car, and that's just fun no matter what. And to top it off, Mexican for dinner!

clean and classy
I have no idea yet if I'm going to buy something flashy or if I'm going to get a simple milsurp style...
sigh.. so many choices with the 1911, and its as modifiable as a freaking 5.0

Good morning Jill, er afternoon. ![Icon Mrgreen](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
Gald you had a good time David. I wish I was going out for mexican tonight. I hate pork roast.
Can't say I've ever built a wall of snow across the road, but that would be interesting. ![Icon Mrgreen](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
Here's a pic of a kid I know from church's mustang. I also saw something else on the way home.

the place is dead today
so here's the pictures that I promised. the truck is a 1991 Nissan, with a 3 valve 4 cylinder engine, that those tuner guys apparently like, so I knew that replacement parts were few and far between to start with, so I wasnt really looking to fix it, so much as figure out what went wrong. Engine had 280k miles on it, with no engine problems to that point. One morning, early, I was driving up the interstate when it overheated...which it continued to do ALL DAY. full story only by request. anyway, when they picked up the truck, it left behind a pool of oil and water on the side of the road. I thought that either the head gasket was blown, or the head was cracked. We took it apart, and there was that oil/water mixture everywhere, even in the throttle body and all over the air filter, ill never forget that smell. when we started to tear it apart, we checked the gasket, nothing abnormal. we inspected the heads, couldnt see anything obvious, and then we got to thinking, with all the water in the cylinders, there has to be a hole between the cylinders and the water jacket, which isnt unexpected, with that many miles. that in itself would be fixable, with a engine flush, and some sleeves in the cylinders. but since i made the mistake of driving it for as long as i did afterwords, it's more than likely that the bottm end is destroyed as well. we havent figured out yet what to do with it, so stay tuned
first pic is the throttle body, the oil water mixture made it back up, somehow, it's all in the filter in the second pic
third is the exhaust manifold, fourth is a pic with the valve cover off, and the fifth shows the depth ofthe oil/water mixture around the timing chain
two pics of the head, pretty nasty
the last three are of the block, you can see the water in the front and back pistons, and more of the nasty in the middle two, then when we cleaned it up a little, you can see that the pistons arent in too bad shape, but the coating is starting to wear off, and the last one shows the problem, the cylinder walls are really marred, im thinking that there's a few small holes in it, she was a ticking time bomb
