Maybe if I get bored, I'll try it this year. 
Speaking of snow, I should start putting up the lights in a couple weeks. One year I had most of them up by halloween.

When I was young we built a snow fort that was so sweet. We ran a heater out to it and had power every thing. It lasted all season and started changing to an Ice fort from the inside heat. We just kept building into it and it got stronger and stronger. We even had old carpet in it. good stuff.

You build a race car out of a crap car for no more than $500, not counting safety equipment like brakes, wheels, tires, rollcage, harness, seat, fire extinguisher, etc and you race it.
grand prize is $1500 in nickels

only problem is if 'the people' dont like you your car gets destroyed. its voted on by the racing teams. they also vote a people's choice who gets another $500 in nickels.... lol

My friend who was going to start the team, and informed me thursday, said he really wanted to use a II lol, and I think it would be pretty cool too. I'd even like the chance to finally drive a fox, (though it'd probably be a 2.3L for the $500 range)
The only problem is I'd still feel bad for any damage to either car... sigh...
