I have always been the primary reason that the flashlights are not where they should be

I took the car for a long drive today in blackout mode. It was in 5:00 traffic, if you can consider it traffic here in podunk. I took a trip to the other side of town on the loop, and then just followed the loop back to my house. Anyway. I saw a lot of people breaking their necks to catch a glimpse of the car. One guy in some kind of metallic orange 90's RX-7 with carbon fiber hood almost ran off the road as we passed each other. Anyway she did me proud today. She sounded oh so sweet, and I did manage to open her up to about 90 once when passing a car, but I kept her at 75 most of the way to avoid the law. I trust the radar detector, but you've got to be in traffic, it does no good on open road with no cars.

It was great 90mph with windows down and the sun shining. About 80 degrees out on a very dry day. It was almost heaven. I love it with the windows down so you can hear the exhaust growl. Then take the exit drop it down into third and floor it as you ease onto the access road. I'm telling you if I'm pushing about 350hp flywheel with the tune and headers, I don't know that I even need a blower with another 150 horses. It's so driveable right now, I think its good the way it sits.

I know I know I'll be singing a different tune tomorrrow.

I'm in Victoria. Its in a crossroads about 2 hours from everywhere and close to nowhere.

We are 2 hours from Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi. Stuck there right in the middle.

I was down in April with the Vert. It was a great ride. I was pressing some speed at times. Good times on the KC turnpike. About 115 of them. If ya know what I mean.

I'm so jealous.

Right now all the driving I even have time for is 15 miles to the bart station, and then 15 miles home every day. I havent had a good... drive in ages. a drive for the sake of driving

sigh

I'd love to come to Texas, wonderful area, or so I've heard

I'm hoping to take a nice long drive Friday after work. Jump on the interstate and cruise north for about 2 hours. 80*, windows down, tunes cranked up...so much wonderfullness. Drag racing Friday night, and gun show saturday, woot! Possibly working on my old truck after that!

I want to get the Bronco running like a charm with some extra get up and go, take the top off, and take the wife out for a long cruise to a lake or something and then take the top off. Oops I already said that.

Edit: This commercial scares me. My daughter who is 7 actually got uncomfortable and left the room when she saw it.

This one is better. More effective I would say.
