Hey folks. Just got back from the local Knowledge Bowl and we actually got 3rd place. 
I'm not stupid after all. Out of 150 questions we got 93 right. There was a tie for first with 94 a piece. One more ****ing answer and we'd have gotten first too. We've been playing for years but this is the first time to get a trophy.

3rd out of 41 teams.
What's cool is that it was at the local university and I beat several teams comprised of my old professors and stuff.
My old government professor was at the table next to us and we stomped the **** out of them.

The guy on the left is Dean. He is a PhD audiologist whose wife is friends with my wife. Then me. Then Anne who is an elementary school teacher and also used to work with my wife, and her husband Jerry who works for the State of Texas.
Anne and Jerry and I have done this for about 6 years. Dean was new to the team last year.

So its basically Jeopardy without money.
That is cool. I'd like to try that. For some reason, I tend to retain massive amounts of useless information that I have picked up from God knows where. However, I can't remember someone's name 5 minutes after I meet them.
