Tomorrow I'm taking the Expi for its new wheels. I'm gonna go with Bridgestone Dueler H/L and go up one size to 275/60/20 from 275/55/20.

It'll be time for a road trip this weekend to put some miles on them.
Which H/L's? I was looking at the Alenzas but had A/T Revos on my Blazer and there were awesome in the snow. I'm deciding now on which ones to go with for the Trailblazer. I need to do my inspection this month and the tires are borderline to pass.

I'm going with the Alenzas just because there is no snow here ever, and this SUV will never see anything but pavement.

I've had several Dueler A/T tires on my trucks and a suburban in the past and always been very happy with them. I've had Good Years and they always wore too fast. Compounds were too soft or something.

Yeah, I was just at Bridgestones site and the Alenzas I see are not good in deep snow. I didn't see that before. There is now a Revo 2, but they are not listed at Tire Rack yet. I'll probably just end up with the Revo's since they did me right before.

The only tires I have bought for my last 3 Explorers are Michelin LTX M/S. Every set I have had has lasted longer than any tires I've ever had. I had one set that went 95,000 miles between two different Explorers and still had 3-4 /32nds when I took them off.

These had almost 70,000 in this pic.....

Good ride, quiet, and long lasting. By far the best **** tires I've ever had. Period.

The Quick Lane at the Ford dealer can get them for me in just a few days. It's just that they are about $160 each and I hate to part with the money just yet. I also want new wheels, but the unemployment check barely covers things without buying tires. My last Stang payment was due today, so i'll have an extra $300 each month. That will help.

+1 and the LTX M/S look good too, with a very clean side wall. I had them on my 96 2wd Exploder before I installed the Cobra R rims.

Well I should go hook up with Princess Ann and maybe then I'd be set to be able to help , Sorry dreaming again , I hate when that happens:

Princess Anne is in the house

By alcameron Mon, Feb 15 2010 COMMENTS(0) Curling

VANCOUVER — Monday’s crowd at the Vancouver Olympic Centre was considerably classed up by the presence of royalty, and I don’t just mean the presence of fellow blogger (and, oh yes, four-time Canadian champ) Jennifer Jones, who’s joined the dark side during the Winter Games by blogging for Yahoo.ca.
No, I mean real royalty, in the form of Princess Anne (Queen Elizabeth’s daughter, BTW), who took in more than an hour of David Murdoch’s practice on Monday while donned in British Olympic gear.
That’s more evidence of just how highly regarded Murdoch’s team is back in Britain, where it’s considered one of the few legitimate medal threats for what you’d have to say is a non-traditional winter-sports nation.
Murdoch neither bowed nor curtsied to Her Royal Highness, by the way.
“I hope I didn’t insult her,” he said afterwards with a laugh.

I had Michelins on my 97 Blazer and they were great. Forgot what kind they were. My 2000 Blazer OEMs wore out fast, but my Duelers lasted. The Continentals that came on my 2005 Blazer sucked and I took them off at 10K. Got Michelins on there now and they are better, but still not very good. 63K on them now and just taking off from a stop sign on a wet roads spins the wheels.
