That's pretty cool Dirk. Glad you made it over there ok. When do you get to come home again?

Sounds like everyone is having a crappy day.

Well I will be coming home again in May or June for a couple weeks again and then I will be going home for good in Oct of this year.

Last year, he helped one neighbor with his driveway and after everything melted, he called to say that my husband chipped up some of the driveway with the plow. Needless to say, if he did, it certainly wasn't on purpose. That was the last time my husband did his driveway.
Sounds like my grandpa. He has to watch me shovel his driveway and make sure I do it just right.

I hope you feel better, David.

Glad you had a safe trip, Dirk.

I've been trying to talk my husband into moving south for a while, Nathan. He usually likes the snow, but even he's had enough this year already.

Summer can stay away from here just as long as the months dont stay away. The heat here sucks.

For those people that whine and complain for stuff made FOR FREE is that I rarely help people out. The exception may be my neighbor. She's a lady that needed to retire of her job due to several illnesses she now has, but still manages to mow her lawn with a line trimmer, now electric, but she used to do it with a gas one. She sometimes even cuts our part and we do the same for her. She is as nice as her mother was, God bless her soul.

Weather here has been pretty sunny this past week, but there's some ash in the air from a volcanic eruption that happened IDK WTF it was :P The Mazda was washed this Sunday, and it's already gray again

I love MN, but I hate the weather. It feels like this is the longest winter I've ever been through and there's still two months left.

Whoa! I was just gonna say ash in my last post, but thought, how often does that happen.

True but then you will have to deal with flooding.

Not a whole lot of flooding around here. Some, but not much.

Well Dirk. I would say it's glad to see you back, but it's be better if you were still stateside.

Gotta pay the bills. What are you going to do for work come October?

I'd love to feel 150* degree heat someday. I wouldn't want to live in it, but I think it'd be fun just to try it. I guess it's like the same as people who've never seen snow. The hottest I can ever remember it getting was about 105 or so. Last year we barely made it into the 90s. Stupid Al Gore.

Turn the oven to 150 and stick your head in it.

That's no fun. That's like telling someone who's never seen snow to stick their head in the freezer.

Tell you what this is what you can do. Get a Hairdryer and turn it on full blast for a mi9n or two and then let it blow on your face. You will then feel what I feel out here in the Summer cuz it is hot and windy.
