Nathan, I'm not a fan sorry, I'm not going to fight about it. It bores me. Alot of things bore me. It's not baseballs fault, but I like some aggression in my sports. I like wathcing a 250 pound running back run over a 220 pound safety. I like watching a 6'6" tight end reach as high as he can to catch a ball and then have the **** knocked out of him by the safety that was waiting to spear him. That's my game. Football is about life, and life's struggles, baseball is about nothing. I'm sorry I'm glad your Twins are winning for you, I hope they win the World Series for you, I'll be happy for you, but I'd rather watch, play, or talk about football any day.

Some people consider football to be like war...

Kellen Winslow Jr. when he was in college taking the game a bit too far, but funny none the less. I can't imagine a baseball player with this much passion for the game.

Sorry, I'm not trying to start something either. I just have never found people getting trampled very entertaining. Plus no one in my family watches football, so I've never really gotten into it.

I played in jr. high and high school. But I've watched since I was old enough to remember. I don't know why it caught on with me and doesn't with others. I do love it though. I'll watch two teams play that I have absolutely no interest in. I wish I had watched Oregon State upset USC last night. Oh well. I certainly wasn't picking a fight, I just wanted you to know that. I'm not for outlawing baseball or anything, I would just prefer they block all those channels on my satellite. lol

Football, Baseball and Hockey rock. Having to appreciate these things is all American. The great American pastime. Playoffs are when its best no matter what state cheering for. How about those North Stars Gary? Er I mean Stars.

Yes I like the Stars, I miss watching Darrien Hatcher checking Red Wings into the boards, but alas free agency. BTW Brett Hull's foot was not in the crease. Thanks for the Stars Minnesota, who knew that Lord Stanley's Cup would ever spend a year in Texas.

She is a Cowboys fan, since childhood, her mother is a Redskins fan, WTF. Anyway, I loved her first.

She's a teacher and she's always talking football at work with the men while the women talk about shoes or pads or whatever it is women talk about when they get together. It freaks the other women out, including her students that she can name players from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and today. She didn't want to root for them when they got rid of Landry, but she quickly forgot about that. I heard it mentioned somewhere on ESPN, "Fans root for the jersery, not for the player!"

You're right, she is a keeper!

I like them both. I think it's without doubt that the hardest thing to do in sports is hit a major league fastball. I love football too! Soccer is the most boring sport ever, buncha running, and hardly any scoring. And WTF is up with being able to tie? If I run around for 2-3 hours, I dam well better get some result.

In my experience, most of the women I know talk football. Maybe not as in depth as you guys, but we do talk about football. Of course we still talk purses, pads and pregnancy too! I have always been a football fan which started when I was a little girl and my grandfather used to take me to watch the Baltimore Colts (til Ursay snuck them out in the middle of the night). When the Colts left, I had to find someone to root for, so I rooted for the Niners....who didn't love Montana? Now we have the Ravens and in my house the only Ravens fans are me and my step daughter. My husband is a Vikings fan, my oldest son is a Cowboys fan and my youngest son is a Broncos fan. Makes for very interesting Sundays in my house. Oh, and my mother in law is also a die hard Skins fan.
