so my neverending light bulb quest continues. Got the other low beam today, and tried to get a replacement for my running light that is out, and I got the wrong one again! WTF?

Hey guys just logged on. No pics. Camera battery dead. I worked all day and was going to get pictures right before nightfall and the camera wouldn't turn on. Its got its own rechargeable battery so, D'Oh!

When I woke up this morning I hit a brick wall. Actually the brick wall fell on me in my sleep. I have really bad allergies, and this morning I felt like crud. I still feel like my head is a giant q-tip. So I managed to get the yard done. Then took a nap. Then I pulled all the non-stock crap off the Bronco. A front bug deflector, 3 stickers on the tailgate that said "Argentina", some flag I've never seen before, an a sticker that said US Triathalon 1982-2007. Evidently the old Owner traded the car in on a Lexus of all things. We found his insurance card in the visor, and it was taken in at the Lexus dealer, who is also a Toyota dealer. My wife googled his name and he is a 42 year old, unmarried doctor, with an abdominal specialty. He also competes in triathalons around the world. I found receipts for 4 new tires, a new heater core, 2 new radiator hoses, coolant system flush, new muffler, and a new battery, and a 4 whel alignment all done since the first of the year. I did find an oil leak from the seal around the bottom of the oil pan. I think a low oil leak is OK, but a high oil leak is bad? IDK I think the D. got tired of putting money in this vehicle or something. So now its my turn.
It took me 4 hours to get those three stickers off. But they are off and tomorrow the cleaning, and pictures begin.

Laying on my back and looking up at the oil pan and the drain bolt. There is fresh oil around the seal where the pan mount up to the bottom of the block I guess. Its coming out around 3 of the bolts that fasten the oil pan up.

Good to hear you got a start on it though. Hopefully the oil leak isn't anything to serious, but I guess that's what comes with older cars. 
Still looking forward to pics tomorrow. Now go plug that battery into it's charger.

I am fully commited to this. And my checkbook is too. I will do all I can myself, but if I have to drop some coin into it its OK. The Mustang is going to get jealous though. Her supercharger just got delayed. I hope she doesn't take it out on me.

I don't have allergies I guess I am lucky so far, although I got up todaay fine 2:00 am @ work by 3:00 am got four hours in & by that time a migrian set in with a little of the trott's ? so aborted the rest of my work day called myself @ the office to say that's it I cannot continue and slept the day. & will try again tomorrow.
