No offence taken Gary. I was being a smartazz when I said that. Yeah i know what you mean. I am out here doing what I can for the troops. Since I am not a soldier anymore I am doing what I can to support them.

My words are easy. It's your actions that I am thankful for. I know you are not 'in the uniform' anymore. But you know what its a about, and what you do is important to those that are.

See the way I look at it is that I am just doing my job. I dont try to get any special treatment or anything. There are times tho I wish I was still in uniform but, my body cant take it anymore.

I'm liking it, especially the positioning of the gear shift...now to just have some good seats put in there, it'll be great
Everyone claims the gearshift to be weird positioned and to use. Finally someone who agrees with me, it's really nice!

yeah, I thought it was n a pretty good place...and the steering wheel was in a pretty good position as well. My only problem was bending my head down to get under the top of the door sill on my way in. No biggie, just something to get used to.

I'm always afraid I'm gonna slip and decapitate myself trying to get into 7. With the car lowered 1.5" and the frameless door I could see myself at least pulling a Van Gogh.

Do they make a Van Gogh smiley?

Yup. Who would use this? The opera crowd?

I got to go cruising in the CS today, it was pretty fun . I might go check out some 2010 Mustangs at the Ford dealer tomorrow. Gary, did you get much snow last Friday? I received quite a bit.

No accumulation. It snowed solid for two hours, but it would hit the ground and just melt. It did collect on some roofs and some sitting cars and stuff. Nothing like the 12" on Christmas Eve 2004.

The roads here look like they've been bleached white. You can barely make out the yellow lines in the middle of the road.

Do y'all drive on the right or the left side of the road up there in Canada?

We had quite a bit of accumulation actually. Check it out:

You got a FOOT in December 2004? I thought that was never possible in South Texas even with a snowstorm like that, wow.

Or it could have just been a bad reception.

I got good news Gary. They make a clear coat that will make it look flat like those hoods. My uncle couldnt remember the exact name of it but he said he believe that it has satin in the name. They also make a flattener for single stage paint. Me personally would go with the satin clear. I hate single stage. He did say that it is a lil pain to shoot but if done right it looks great. He also said that if you paint the whole car you can pretty much eliminate the edge that it would cause just putting the stripes on. He is in California and they have very strong laws and all of their paint is now waterborne paint. They have no more enamels and laquers. I hope this helps you out some more. I believe the way he was talking was that you woul dbe safe with getting wax on it but it might be best to talk to a paint shop or body shop about that so that there is no miss understanding about it.
