I wish mufflers were easier/cheaper to change out. I want to try flowmasters just for the heck of it, but that'd be at least $300. This sounds sooooo good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQY1qcGQrfo

Verified some of the Mazda parts prices on the auto parts store nearby;
rotors- $25 ea
pads- $30
hub bearings- $35 ea
hubs- $45 ea
I'll reuse the hubs since they're still good. I'll just replace the studs on the right one, since I've done some nasty 1-2 shifts and some peel outs too. Not fun loosing a wheel at highway speeds The cv joint will run me about $35-50 +-. I think that I'll spend about $200 total.

It's just a dusting of dry snow. Not much to complain about.

Question for those more informed than me...

I'm looking for new wheels for my Trailblazer. The ones I like come in two different finishes. Painted and machined with clear coat.

Which finish holds up better, especially through snow, ice, salt, and dirt?

I would have to say the macjined with clear coat. I think they use a diff type of clear that protects the finish better than paint does. Now dont quote me on that. I have alloy rims on my dually and they have a protective clear on them after they got polished up and the only spots that are chipping off is where the previous owner rubbed against something with it. Otherwise they look awesome when clean.

Man I hear everybody saying that they are putting theirs away for the winter and it makes me sad. At the same time I can see why they would. Everybody has some really awesome rides. I cant wait to be saying that I am putting mine away for the winter. LOL
