Ok so I downloaded all of the drivers and updates onto my laptop and now it says I have to return the car to a stock tune before updating the firmware on the tuner. **** procrastination

Hey guys, I know I haven't been on much, but I've been busy. I almost completely turned our stock charge motion plates into delete plates(charge motion plates w/o butterfly valves) last night.

That black stuff in the port in the second picture is built up carbon, not a scratch.

Make sure you have a saved copy of your tune somewhere in case this all gets cocked up.

But I honestly don't remember it saying that. Though I might have ignored it, because at that point the car was probably gonna explode it I put a stock tune in it and started it.

ya know seeing how the car is basically stock. Just a CAI I should just turn it back to stock like you all said back 2 months ago and drive it for a day or two and get it inspected and then re-install the CAI & tune after. I was being lazy and trying to get around it seeing how I will have to do this every year.

Nah, hahaha around here you have to ask for "Frankie Fish". Seriously though MA DMV requires they plug into the OBDII port and the computer checks the readiness monitors. Brenspeed turns off the rear O2's causing 3 of the 5 monitors to never run.
I wasn't kidding about "Frankie Fish" either. Back some months ago they had a huge thing on the news about it and how people would walk in and slip the guy $50 - $100 and ask if "Frankie Fish" was around.
