David's right. It's a '67 GT fender emblem. My stock rear emblem was too chromey. So I went with a two tone SHR rear medallion and matching fuel door. THen I was looking for something to put on the plain rear emblem and found this. It's small, red, and unique. But it is for GT's so its not like putting a Cobra where it doesn't belong. I like it.

If the left had a little more gloss to it, I'd go with that one. 
It matches the stripes, but it almost stands out too much.

in other news, the old harley i went to check out was in rougher shape then i feel comfortable taking ownership of, so i passed. i did however find this
its a 1997 yamaha virago. pete's first bike was an 07 virago, but it was only a 250, this is a 535. and it has a much nicer exhaust system. once the guy replaces the headlight bulb, gets his dmv paperwork and rides it out to berkeley for me (hes much farther away than berk) money will change hands

Right. To me, the extra stuff on the left kinda draws attention to it, which seems like you're not trying to do since you blacked it out. Does that make sense LOL?

I'm going to storage today to pick up our stock charge motion plates so I can see if I can turn them into delete plates.

So small F150 update - Bought some SeaFoam today to clear out my fuel system, and got some free injector cleaner, which I'll use at my next oil change. Hopefully that cures the slight hesitation I get. I'm just starting with cheap things first. Next up will be spark plugs. Then distributor/etc

The motor probably hasn't seen a full tune up in at least 5 years too I think. It's not the trans, I refuse to believe
