How can I tell if my Mustang GT has PP2 option?
How can I tell if my Mustang GT has PP2 option?
Hello,
I'm am a new owner of a beautiful 2017 Mustang GT.
The dealership stated that it has the Performance Pack 2 option.
Not that I wouldn't take the dealers statement as true, but how can I tell it has PP2 option?
I have 19" black rims that are staggered. I don't see the traditional CAI, it's enclosed. Aren't CAI filters open in the engine compartment?
The reason for this question is that I need to purchase some splash guards... I'm kicking up stones everywhere I go and I don't want to ruin the paint....So Roblox has splash guards for my car with two options. GT or PP2. I guess the PP2 has wider wheels, therefore a different guard. That's why the question.
Thank you.

Either Way the PP2 Flaps Would Be Larger I would Bet Wider and Offer More Protection Even Without PP2 Just a Thought! States Front Only on Cut & Paste I Got From Roblox Site.
3 OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM:
-V6, EcoBoost, GT Splash Guards provide full protection from harsh road debris and gravel while maintaining a sleek factory look.
-PP2 V6: Splash Guards weredesigned for the Mustang GT Performance Pack 2 and features larger more aggressive Splash Guards in the front which fits the wider wheels on the PP2 Version.
-GT350 or GT350R Splash Guards were Designed specifically for the Mustang GT350.

Replied!
Short Answer Not PP2 BTMO, But Maybe a Larger Flap Would Be Good If the Rocks are Pelting by the Front Tires. May or May Not Look Right. Anyhow When Some of Our Late Model Experts Wake Up in the States, it's Early Morn here in California! Touch of Insomnia For Me Last Night. They Probably Know By Some Direct Knowledge About The Packages, Mudflaps and Years Spreads By Heart! Anyway I Learned a Bit and Now You Will Know Some Other things about the Car after Reading the Info I sent.
Man I Got to Get Some Sleep! Can't Think Anymore!
That is a **** Nice Car BTW!
Enjoy,
KC

I'll have to go through all of that material.
It's perfect!
The PP2 came out in 2018 and is a PP1 with upgraded Magneride, shocks struts and related related suspension items, active exhaust as std equipment( you can get mangeride and active exhaust on a pp1 as a option but the pp2 mangeride is programmed a little different) 19x10.5" rims with PS-2 cup tires, additional front splitted for about 80 lbs of downforce at 100mph, blade rear spoilet as std equipment. and it only came in a6 speed manual.
