Brembo is a great brake package and option for the GT. I wish I had gotten it. But the stock brakes work great with better pads and fluid. They still won't hold up as well as the Brembos but they are definitely adequate enough to bring the GT to a quick stop from high speeds, just not repeatedly like on a track. Tires (and highway surface) are the real limitation for stopping. 4 or 6 piston brakes will not stop the car any faster than a single piston. Anitlock brakes will only apply so much pressure to the brakes regardless of how hard the driver pushes the pedal.

Yes you did on previous years, not the new ones with the auto and 3.15's. Totally different housing.
