Yeah, the Brembo brake package is quite the deal compared to buying aftermarket brakes

I'd say Brembos are the best factory brakes. Many automakers use them, including Italian exotic cars.

Aren't there some people on here that say the Brembo's don't stop any quicker, they just don't have the fade the stock brakes have?

I'm pretty sure the difference is negligible in a standing one-stop 60-0 test. However, the Brembos are supposed to shine when multiple stops are performed like on a track where fade is the main concern. I had a standard brake base GT before my Boss and didn't notice a noticeable change in daily braking power.

wow...the Brembos are kind of a waste of money then for daily driving.

It's true that there's someone on here who said it... But everywhere there is a lot of controversy over exactly what benefits bigger brakes provide.

Don't the Brembos have more pistons? More pistons = more stopping power

I wish I could, but his app doesn't allow me to put up a picture. It's so annoying.

I've wondered about this myself. More pistons would seem to increase the clamping force. But I've never heard inadequate clamping force cited as a significant factor in stopping power.

So I've got these Brembos on my 2014, which I don't track, and yeah, it stops fine. It would probably stop fine with the stock brakes as well. But I was expecting face-in-the-dashboard stopping power, which I can only get by stomping on the pedal. Even then, never tried it with non Brembo brakes.

I think the design of the rotor and the caliper to dissipate heat is the primary factor. Since heat generation is always occurring when the brake is applied, I would expect the Brembos to make a difference in heat dissipation regardless of the use case. Now whether the difference is significant enough to overcome other factors in daily driving (tires, road conditions, etc.), that's another matter.

Also, the stopping power has another limit - available traction. The Brembo package comes with a wider tire and I'm sure can handle wider. Plus, fade resistance is a big plus. If you live in a hilly area, I'm sure they shine then.

Well aren't the calipers much bigger on the Brembos too? Bigger calipers = bigger pads = more friction material = more stopping power?

right? science!
I can't tell if you're being serious here, and I have not compared the weight of the Brembo calipers and discs to stock, but how much weight are we talking about versus the increased stopping power? I can't imagine it's more than 20 lb. which wouldn't even be significant had you not changed the brakes.

if it's on the rotors, that's just normal surface rust...it's unavoidable as rotors can't be coated since they are a friction surface for braking. The rust comes off after a few stops

You cannot just swap gears with autos and 3.15's on these cars due to the size of the housing. You would need a whole new rear.
