2015 GT Brembo brakes squealing

Hi everyone, my 2015 GT with PP has 29k miles and about a week ago the brakes started squealing extremely loud. I have seen a few posts about it and was wondering if anyone had posted a solid solution to get them to stop without taking it to the dealership? Thanks!

Hello,
At 29k May Need Some New Pads! My 07 Shelby with Brembo's are Getting Close to Needing Replacing at 33K And Those Miles Were 90% Highway! But Here is the Ford Shop Manual Section on NVH for the Brakes!

Also Included 6 Piston Pad R&R. That is What you Have????

Anybody Out there With The Brembo's Got Any More Input Please Chime in!

yep, probably pads need to be replaced; they have little squeelers on them to make that noise to warn you that it is time

the older Brembo pads were super dusty, not sure about the newer ones, but this might be a good time to look in to different pads if that bothers you

good news is, the Brembo's are super easy to change

Agree with both. That is my first thought on the sudden extremely loud squeal. Time for new pads...

Yes I did have that very problem. Took it several places and heard some of the worst

I am an ASE Master L1 Master technician w/40 some odd years experience. I have been either a shop foreman or head tech that had to resolve a load of problems that others couldn't fix .
. Anyway, 1 bought my 15 Mustang GT w/24000 miles .
oh also had premium w/pp .
My car started squeaking a month or so after I bought it .
I talked to several Mustang ofencianodos about and no great answer. I then looked up
For service and recalls . I found a recall of my very problem. When i took it to the dealer (reluctantly) they told me my car didn't fit the service buliten . I had the 6 piston Brembos.
. Now you have to remember that I had found and fixed thousands of little squeaks and big bumps also . IT DROVE ME CRAZY to hear this squeaking noise . Finally I took my Mustang to the dealer for one more chance and low and behold there it was . They found the bulletin.
They installed 2 front rotors, pads and everything that was on the bulletin. Since then quess what ? NO MORE SQUEEKS ! SORRY FOR THE LONG STORY . BUT YOU KNOW WHAT ? I
It could of been a lot longer !

so -- there is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for squealing/squeaking on the 6-piston Brembo brakes?

Can you post the TSB number? That would be very helpful for people who have this problem in the future.

thanks, and welcome to the forum

I think He Is Saying That The 6 Piston Were Not Listed But they Used The Available Information on TSB for the 4 Piston Brakes and Replaced Those Same Items. Here is the 4 Piston TSB. So They Would Replace 6 Piston Pads & Rotors. If I'm Wrong No Harm No Foul Good Info!
