I have a 2012 Mustang GT and recently had the H&R Race Springs installed... we forgot to transfer the rubber coil insulators off the factory springs. Whenever I hit any kind of bump, there is this horrible chunking metal on metal noise!!! will taking it apart and adding the insulators on the new springs solve the problem or do I need to buy something else??? Upper spring mounts??? THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!

Thanks! the drop is 1.5" all around. Their K springs are 1.5". I believe they have others with less of a drop. I wanted more but didn't want to need camber plates and such. Ill install some struts when these fail. Also threw in an adjustable pan hard bar. The install was a breeze on the '13! Air tools definitely make a world of difference

Many reviews online spoke about a super stiff ride and I assume they have regular stangs not Brembo or track pack ones. I have the track pack so it was already stiffer than a regular GT. My 12 was a much softer ride. These new springs are a bit stiffer but not bone jarring, then again the roads here are well kept. I notice when I make sharp turns there is no body roll and when I slam it in first, there is no longer any wheel hop. It's a great feeling. Corners are very tight and the lower cog really comes through along with the stiffer rates. There is still some nose dive under heavy braking but its not as bad as before. I'm very happy with then. Hopefully I can take her out to the track soon and really put it through its paces.

I'm going to VIR in a few weeks for the true test, but around town I've noticed a few things, as others have noted.
The T springs are a 1" drop on the front and 1.5" on the back, so the stance is nice and even, or horizontal. It'll look nice in a square setup. I am a little concerned about losing some aero downforce on the front. A big spoiler, like the World Challenge, would fix that though. I'm having a little trouble with the trans cooler rubbing, so I might remove it between events. You just need to be chill over uneven pavement.
On all soft, the Konis are stiffer than my stock setup set to 5 all around. I've turned them up a bit, since then, making the ride much more precise. You feel much more feedback from the road and a sense of where the car is going. It's totally fine for my street driving, but probably not for everyone.
I don't drag race or do forceful launches, so I can't comment on that, but around turns and in pretty high g brakes, I feel markedly reduced body roll. In fact, I'm slipping the tire grip before and noticeable roll. As I mentioned, I'll know more on the track with 18" slicks, and track pads.
