I've run all different pads. Pagid, carbotech, hawk, performance friction.... The raybestos has out lasted and out braked everything while also being very smooth. Carbotech would shutter, Hawks ate rotors, pagids were good but pricey...
I don't drive the car on the street much so no I stopped swapping. No issues running the st47's on the street for me.
Very nice. Sounds like they are definitely working looking at. Are you running standard rotors? Do you notice any extra noise when do drive them on the street? I presume so but maybe not enough to bother you since you don't drive it much. I know HP Plus' are noisey so I didn't leave them on for the street. That and I do drive quite a bit on the street so I don't want the harsh brake dust eating paint off my wheels.

I run Carbotech XP10s in the front for track days, and XP8s in the back. For street driving I swap the front for my stock Ferrodo pads, otherwise the noise in unbearable. I leave the XP8s in the back permanently. There is a little bit of noise at low force brake pedal applies, but it is bearable. Dusts a little more than stock pads, but now the front/read dust is even. I'm not very good about cleaning the rims, so one big reason I went with Carbotech is because the dust is non-corrosive.
I have about half of the front pads left after 5 track days. I think when it's time to replace the XP10s I'll go with XP12s for extra temp resistance and a bit more bite.
Does anyone know the part number for the C-Clips? I'm looking to do the upgrade.
Also, Im looking at the power stop and stoptech rotors. Have anyone used these?
---
Hi MMarker. I did not use new C-clips (honestly, I don't even know what those are, sorry).
Here's the details of the new parts I used:
* 2014 GT500 rotor, Ford part # DR3Z-2C026-A, $76 each.
* 2014 GT500 caliper relocation bracket, Right side, DR3Z-2C100-A, $61.
* 2014 GT500 caliper relocation bracket, Left side, DR3Z-2C101-A, $61.
I ordered my parts from Tasca Parts (www.tascaparts.com), they gave me great service and prices. The OEM GT500 rotors are excellent, I see no need for 'PowerStop' or Stoptech' rotors.
Remember, I re-used my stock OEM 2011 GT calipers, pads, and dust shields, perfect fit, no problem, save $$. This only requires the rotors and the relocation brackets.
Also, since the install, I've painted my calipers black (DupliColor), since my front Brembos are black I wanted these to match, picture attached:
For those not wanting to remove the axels you could also just get the larger GT500 rotors and adapter bracket that moves the mounting of the caliper a few inches out. ncmustangparts on the SVT forum makes them. 5 track days since install and no issues.
I know this is an old thread but is there any performance difference between the adapters and the different upgrade brackets?
---
Hey Jazzman. Not too old, no worries. I want track-rats to use this thread. I don't think there is a performance difference. OEM ones are pretty stout, and the fit is perfect, but it requires removing the axles, both sides. Those that have used the relo-brackets have posted that they work just fine.
Is there a full parts list for this upgrade? I have the rotor part number, the adapters, and the axle shaft lock. Is there anything else? Does anyone know about how many shop hours places are charging?

Here is a list I copied from another thread awhile ago:

Where did you get your adapters?
Do you have a link?
Thanks

When I did it, nothing like that was available, so I had to do the OE route..
Resurrecting a super old thread here haha. Just did the swap but went with the oem brackets and pulled the axles, install was straight forward and the rears look soo much better. I went with Brembo pads and the oem rotors
