After a long wait, the dealer called today and said the car is on its way. Finally off the ramp in Michigan. He'll have a better idea for pick-up by Wednesday. I'm looking to get there to see it off the truck.

2/8 was window sticker and 2/15 was build from what I can tell. Kona Blue with torsen and recaro.

 

I am glad some of you are getting your cars. I have been driving by some Ford dealers in Minnesota and have yet to see one with a Boss 302. In fact I have not seen or heard of a Boss on the roads in Minnesota. Maybe Ford does not think we have enough warm weather up in the fridid North for a car such as a Boss.

Congratulations to you all who got your Vin number. I am hoping Ford will drop the allocation deal next year and ramp up production of the Boss LS so I can go to any dealer and order a Boss LS.

 

Keep hoping but I doubt that's going to happen.

 

Awesome, just got a message from my dealer, production of my BOSS got bumped up to the 25th vs. the 29th. Anybody else with a recent bump in schedule?? Maybe the kinks are starting to unfold and production is hitting a steady stride.

 

That would be nice.

Well I was told scheduled a build week of May 2. Today found out it is now week of May 9th. Beginning to get very weary of waiting for my "Q1" build. So apparently having a build scheduled is very fluid. I will likely not get my car before June at this rate.

We r going to c a lot more of this as they get produced. I'm so tempted to tell my dealer to go fk himself and just go get a stock one. His lack of info is so annoying. 3 weeks ago his zone rep called and told me I have an April build. I spoke to him again today and asked "if I have an April build, where is my Vin?" he said he will call me back tomorrow with some info. I'll keep my fingers xsd. I'm not sure how much longer I will wait as more and more Bosses come out

 

My dealer text me this afternoon. #55 has arrived. Yellow Blaze. picking it up Friday. The wait is finally over.

The last update I got for my "Q1 Build" was that it was still in "material hold" and not yet assigned a VIN. Thanks for any insight.... and if you need any add'l info from me, don't hesitate to ask!
