Who's still waiting for a Q1 build?

I think all of the Q1 cars have been scheduled and most been built. I also think that anyone that has a Q1 build and doesn't have a VIN does not have a Q1 allocation.

5 DOT 0, again I think this is wishful thinking. I do not believe ALL Q1 builds have been scheduled OR built.
As Nota4e posts up, he DOES have a Q1 build which has been confirmed with Ford and he does not have a VIN (at least as of 5/12).
So again, I believe there are sill Q1 Bosses yet to be scheduled and built.
And yes I know, that sucks but it is what it is....

I just picked up a Q1 build, BOSS #0377
BOSS #0377 was just picked up on Friday, May 13th. It had a 3-25 build date, so a six week delay from "build date" to on the road. That seems to be about normal with all of the various delays reported.
Is it possible that a dealer was told they have a Q1 allocation but didn't have one???
Regardless if you have a Q1 allocation and I'm wrong it doesn't matter because now it's a Q2 allocation.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I hope all of you with either Q1 or Q2 allocations get your cars soon.

I wasn't going to reply to Rick's post because of exactly your situation Nota4re. You have a Q1 build (there is no dealer mistake about this time slot) and have yet to be assigned a VIN. Hopefully soon my friend.
I think we are discussing symantics. There is "assignment of a VIN", actual vehicle "build date", vehicle "shippment date" from FlatRock and "dealer delivery date".
Rick perhaps you can tell us what "scheduled" means?
I know the anticipation is mounting on prospective owners (myself included) but as I said before, nothing we can do about it and the car will get to the dealer when the car arrives. And it will be worth the wait!

Posted before but I forgot by who. Nothing more than FYI material:
Below are the scheduling milestones dates for BOSS.
Receipt Date: The date that MS&S recorded the order.
When the order is received from the dealers
Serialize Date: The date that MS&S transfers the order to MP&L and the VIN is created.
When the order is received by Material Planning and parts are ordered
Segment Date: The date that MP&L determines which week the order will be built.
When they figure what week that parts will be able to be delivered to the plant to build the vehicle
Sequence Date: The date that MP&L determines which day the order will be built.
When they figure what day that parts can be at the plant to build the vehicle
Blend Date: The date that MP&L determines when the order will be built within the assigned day.
When they figure the specific order that vehicles will be built. This depends on options and line constraints.
Produced Date: The date that VO finished assembling the vehicle
Your unit has been built!
Gate Release Date: The date that VO transfers the vehicle to Transportation Carriers for shipping
Your unit has left the building, and is in the hands of the shipper (rail or truck)
Ship Date: The date the vehicle left the Assembly Plant
Your unit has left the load site, and is on it's way to the dealer
Arrival Date: The date the Dealership received the vehicle
Your dealer has the unit in hand, doing the dealer prep thingy
Sold Date: The date the Customer picked up the vehicle
You came in, looked it over, said, "I'll take it!" and signed the papers

Scheduled = serialized. When you have a VIN your allocation has been pulled from the order blanks. At least that's my understanding. Anyway I hope we all get our cars sooner rather than later. It's been a very frustrating process for me as well but mainly from dealer shenanigans. Fortunately there are plenty of good dealers out there and I found one.
