I wonder where 302 ended up at?

Anything is possible but I doubt that very much. When taking with Ford's Mustang media guy he was taken back when I told him my number. He asked where I bought it and said he assumed that the first numbers would go to the highest selling dealers in the country. The lower numbers here all came to regular people in normal - not high volume dealers.

If you look at Stillintense's car, it was build right after no. 6 and 7 and before 9, but 9 got to VPC before his Boss and is numbered 29. It just may be that someone special gets it but the system does not seem all that flexible to allow it. At this point I would not be surprised if no. 1 just plain went to a dealer with a normal everyday order.

 

Update on my 1Q build. I got a VIN number last Friday, and customer service gave me a build date of 4/29 and expected delivery date of 5/12

 

Deysha contacted me from FMC today, and my CO boss was built 4/12/11 and expected delivery of 4/25/11 order was placed on 12/13/10.

Just got a build week for my 1q car. Is the week of May 2. Hopefully this won't change much but after all the delays I am not holding my breath.

 

I'm a Q2 boss owner. Ordered in February and I received my Vin# on 4/5/11. Spoke with Ford today and car is in production and set for delivery on May 1 or Sooner. I hope sooner, but will take May 1. Perfect timming....the weather is just starting to turn nice in New Jersey.

I feel your pain. Before 3 hours ago I had nuthin then salesman sends me production week and later vin. Still don't know completely know why it took so long. I think the most frustrating thing was seeing people buy them off the showroom floor when my order was not even scheduled. Oh well I suppose it is what it is.

is now scheduled for production the week of May 9. just found out last thursday.

 

I think the final Q1 builds should show up by this Friday. The Q2 builds should start showing up by the 29th if not this week.

 

Still waiting for info on mine...

 

Orderd mid Dec. got build date of 2-4-11 got vin#202587 Built 2-18-11. End of February dealer receives MSO . Boss has not showed up yet. Just don't know what is going on.
