Holy Moly-
This week for me has not been quite as radical.
Just some bling and things to spruce up under the hood.

I think I got it from UPR the same time I bought the strut tower caps and nut covers.
It looks just like the one from Silver Horse, only about $40 cheaper.
The cover could probably use a bit more finishing, but I wanted to get it on before I took off again.

Thanks Max.
I only had a couple of days to mess with the car this time, but it was a lot of fun doing it.

This weekend... my wife and I just bought our 2012 Boss 302.

#2327 Kona Blue with Recaros... It looks like it had 20,000 stock and easy miles, lets hope!

It's been raining but I'll get pictures soon!

Brushed Aluminum. $70.00 from American Muscle.
It was by far the hardest piece to install on the BOSS. But with patience, (And a little bending), it will go on.

Yeah, it's been a blast to drive! Night and day compared to my last stock 5.0... The sound is... just majestic! lol

I haven't got on it yet, but I did notice this morning how awesome the suspension is! I took a curve at 80mph, that I used to take at 70mph with a lot of body roll, as if I was on rails! This thing rides so awesome!

It makes commuting that much more exciting... my '12 GT was so much fun, this is even better!

Congrats! Now you start with the easy mods, hood struts, sound tube delete, and 3/4" restrictor plates. Then you can work your way up to GT500 mufflers and an MGW shifter.

I thought about taking it last night to a 2000+ car cruise night, but decided to take the Cobra R... and there was already another one there

I'm glad to hear the difference between the GT and the Boss is that noticeable, makes me even more glad I got the Boss instead of a Brembo GT.

Today marks 500 days since I last drove my BOSS.
In comparison, I drove the car for 414 days before parking it prior to coming here.

On the plus side, that's 500 days I haven't been putting miles on it, and 500 days I haven't been tempted to buy anything for it.

Just wait till you start doing suspension stuff, then again once you catch the bug it all goes down hill.

Yeah suspension, one day. lol

But as far as in-line performance... Wow!

So I finally got onto it! I've bettered my skills with it's stickier shifts and figured I could handle really throwing it through the gears like I did my GT.

Having 3:73s instead of the 3:31s and an extra 3" of rubber in the back felt great at dig!
...Then! I took it to readline...
It slingshot me into second and then again into third! It was awesome!

Before, I'd chirp 2nd, then 3rd.
This car though!? ...Yeah, It'd chirp, but it'd just throw you forward! I think I did more holding on than driving.

Driving has gotten better and better!

GT compared to Boss?

Huge difference! ...at least to me.

Both have gobs of power and strong handling characteristics. The difference though, is that the Boss really delivers it at a new level!

It's like knocking a guy out in a hidden back alley after he stole some girls purse as compared to knocking that same guy out in front of the same girl and her entire cheerleading team...
...both save the girl's purse but happen, and end, so much differently!
