Looks good GOTSVT! I couldn't stand seeing the bright silver mufflers under the back on mine. Wasn't wild about the stock double tips either. That & opening the side plates gives it a perfect sound IMO.

Just bought some wrist sweat bands to hopefully stop the brake fluid from leaking onto the paint.

 

How is that happening?

 

No idea, assuming the fluid gets to hot and leaks from around the cap. I have had it happen and taken it in to get the paint checked, I know a few others have as well and I don't think there is a fix, except maybe don't fill up the fluid to the full line.

 

Is that happening at the track where you are really heating up the brakes?

 

Yes for the most part. Though I do try to clean it off everytime I am under the hood and it will still seep though I haven't been to the track in a few months.

ordered the saleen grill from LMR. IMO....this grill looks much better than the fake fogs and allows more air flow. Never understood those fake fogs. Grill should be here some time this week>>>>Just in time for the long winter nap.

 

Had a 2.1 60 foot, never been to a strip. Also not sure how much of it was from the tires though the Conti dws's did get pretty sticky.

I used to power shift; Not any more; Just shift fast.

I tried to launch to high; with street tires I launch around 1700 rpm; drag radials @2500.

 

I launched at 1500 and it worked perfectly, just took too long to actually do it. I also don't power shift.
