I put in the 3/4" side exhaust baffles and since I hated the stock driving light delete inserts, I had some made that have the honeycomb opened up. Should have come from the factory that way if you ask me.

 

Who makes them?

 

A buddy has a 3D printer, we modeled my stock inserts and opened them up then printed them. There are few people interested in them so he's thinking about making a mold and making a bunch of sets.

3D printers are so cool, if that is what you used then you should have a CAD file that you can send to anyone so they can print it themselves. Looks much better.

 

Are you in/around the Seabrook NH area? Last Sept I took a trip over to Tripoli's pizza to pickup a few trays of pizza for my sons birthday party and spotted a 13 PW Boss getting off 95 and heading towards the dog track. The side road was all ripped up during construction and I never had a chance to catch up in my 13 RR Boss. The car the turned right up some side road just past the track, never could tell if it had MA or NH plates.

I would be interested in a set of inserts also.

BTW, I took out my 3/4" plates and just leave the pipes open, the sound doesn't bother me at all on the highway, and it's heaven around town.

 

No, that wasn't me. I did see a '13 PW Boss at a show in Merrimack at the brewery last year, it might have been him, he lives in NH, not sure where, though. The only other PW Boss I know of in the area is down by Boston.
Should be making the mold for the inserts today, I'll let you know when there are some sets available.

There was too much of that jake-brake sound on decel with the pipes open for my taste, the 3/4" are a good compromise, at least for now.

 

Ah ok. I like the burble, so it's all good. Where in MA are you, I drive around Littleton and anywhere north of there in the Lowell/Plaistow area from 495 to rt 125?

I had the Kooks LT's 1 3/4 with O/R X Pipe installed.

Totally satisfied. Better sound and performance seems better with limited testing. Shaun @ AED says I should see 35+ RWHP.. He's dyno'd some Bosses with adding the Kooks and have seen that increase.

I haven't seen your car around, the only other Boss I've seen is a red 2012 around Pepperell/Groton.
