What have you done to/with your Boss 302 this week?

Had my first track day with the Boss yesterday at Atlanta Motorsports Park. The facility itself is still a bit rough around the edges, but the track is pretty sweet.
The Boss performed flawlessly. I was really pleasantly surprised considering how tight the course is and I was on the stock Pirelli tires. Only mods are Dot 4, HP+ pads on front, brake cooling ducts, MGW shifter and Track Key.
Having never been to that track before (or with this car) and not knowing what to expect, I registered for the intermediate group. We mowed everybody down! I started at or near the front of each session and would work around and catch up to the back of the pack and start lapping cars. It was a fun mix of open running and passing other cars.
The only car/driver that was a handful was a supercharged C6 Vette. He started right behind me one session. I held him off for a few laps and then let him by. It was fun running behind him to see his line. I was able to keep up pretty well. I talked to him after the session....his car has a vortech and makes 510 at the wheels. Also has a full ZO6 suspension under it. Helluva nice guy. He's gonna email me some video.

I have just aquired a 2013 Boss LS and although I have owned several high performance cars, this is my first Mustang. I can't tell you how much I am enjoying the performance and handling, even with the live rear axle. I have one concern and would like to hear from other Boss owners. First of all, I already have 2600 miles clocked. I find the shift gate to be narrow and unless you are precise in some cases won't go into the next gear without a little side to side movement. By the way this only happens while driving hard to the red line and attempting a speed shift. Normal driving, all is fine. My questions are,
will the MGW shifter help and does that effect the warranty? Anyone, give me the pros and cons to the MGW shifter.

Typical. Of course it would be racist to point that out.

It will change the car. With proper technique it will be almost impossible to miss a 1-2 or 2-3 shift under load (2-3 shift has to be open palmed straight to the radio, never misses)
Cons: the stock shifter is real smooth and easy under normal, around the town, no load driving. MGW is little more effort with 4-5/5-6; but that doesn't bother me at all. The trade off for superior high rev shifting is more than worth the effort. Unless you are good at DIY, then pay a qualified mechanic. Also more noise with MGW, but the new boot design eliminated most of the noise, vibration issue.
One of the best Mods I've done to the Boss. Absolutely worth the $$$.

PRO's : The MGW short throw is a quality piece of equipment that is worth the money. Customer service is excellent. I had a question about power shifting that I sent to George @ MGW on a Friday night and he called me the next morning (Saturday ) to give me the info.

He also asked about warranty problems. What about it with the MGW.? Not trying to start an argument, just have not seen anything posted about possible Ford warranty complications. I put in the Barton with the two post bracket. Ford Racing sells these too so I don't think there is a warranty issue with those. BTW, the car shifts great now!

Not this week, last week. Also pulled the NVH covers on the sides of the intake and the one under the front of the intake.
