Was off Friday and got lucky. A friend of mine owns an exhaust shop and just finished installing a dyno. Another friend of mine with a GT500 and I went up and put our cars on it. I made 402hp and 367tq SAE corrected, 88* day and 50% humidity. He made 634 and 587 I believe.
Then got a wild hair. Saw a post in the Boss owners group on facebook about swapping door speakers, and I figured what the heck, the girlfriend is out of town this weekend and I need a little project. Replaced both the front and rear with Kenwood KFC-C6894PS speakers. They are a direct fit 6x8. Sounds quite a bit better tehn the cheesey stock speakers.
Door Speakers
Rears:
The doors were really easy to swap. The rears weren't too bad I guess, even though it did earn a couple of colorful words at one point.

Took GHIG 302 down to San Diego, had some "biznus" to take care of in Del Mar. Ate at PF Chang's in La Jolla (Valet guys were wishing I parked the Boss with them, and then headed back up to Temecula. Took the Boss over the 74 Freeway to Orange County for a Dr. Seuss deal my wife wanted to go to, in Laguna Beach. Parked near a 328 Ferrari, a convertible Bentley, and a few Audi's, and the Boss got most of the attention. We found a sweet parking spot right on the street everyone WANTS to park on, directly across from where we ate and the Gallery. So, while waiting the 30 minutes for a seat to get some of the world's best Risotto, I got to watch people looking at and talking about the Boss, and they had no idea I was the owner. Kinda fun, sorry, no pics.

Taking my tire to get a nail removed. Stupid construction all around me.
(Dont worry, there is a jack stand under the axle)

Driving the Boss can also induce similar reactions.

Had my first track day with the Boss yesterday at Atlanta Motorsports Park. The facility itself is still a bit rough around the edges, but the track is pretty sweet.
The Boss performed flawlessly. I was really pleasantly surprised considering how tight the course is and I was on the stock Pirelli tires. Only mods are Dot 4, HP+ pads on front, brake cooling ducts, MGW shifter and Track Key.
Having never been to that track before (or with this car) and not knowing what to expect, I registered for the intermediate group. We mowed everybody down! I started at or near the front of each session and would work around and catch up to the back of the pack and start lapping cars. It was a fun mix of open running and passing other cars.
The only car/driver that was a handful was a supercharged C6 Vette. He started right behind me one session. I held him off for a few laps and then let him by. It was fun running behind him to see his line. I was able to keep up pretty well. I talked to him after the session....his car has a vortech and makes 510 at the wheels. Also has a full ZO6 suspension under it. Helluva nice guy. He's gonna email me some video.

Well, the guy he bought the car from told him it made 570 rwhp, but when he dynod it it was 510. Maybe a mustang dyno or something. I would expect closer to the 570 number... Regardless, pretty stout car. Tough to get that much power down on that particular track.
