What have you done to/with your Boss 302 this week?

Haha, I hear ya.
Everytime I start getting upset about not having the car here, though, I just remember a couple things...
1) Parking here flat out sucks. Parralel is king. Spots are small. People don't have any reservations about hitting your car to squeeze into a spot. If you go into the bigger city close to where we are, you will be hard pressed to find a vehicle that doesn't have some noticeable damage to it, from the run of the mill Fiesta's to 6 series BMWs, etc.
2) I haven't seen anything above 87-89 octane gasoline here, especially on base. If it's here, it's off base somewhere, and it probably costs close to what I'm paying for diesel right now, which is about $7/gal.
3) I'm not paying $2600+/yr that my (military friendly ) insurance company wants to charge me to have the car here. Kudos to the couple guys here that are comfortable doing that to have their Bosses in Germany, though.

I find myself feeling like i'm back in high school, rolling slow through parking lots with the windows down and listening to that rumble out the side pipes.

Removed some dried wax from the plastic trim using WD40 on a shop towel and some vigourus rubbing. Not sure why it would be but hopefully this doesn't ruin the plastic.

Had to drive from Crofton to Frederick, about a 70 mile drive. Tried to make it as quick as possible. Got to pass my first stingray, though it wasn't very fair as the driver was probably 50 and doing the same speed in the left lane, moron.

I think a lot of owner demographics is due to cost. You wouldn't normally expect a 25 year old to own a z06...a Mustang may be easier to afford and IMO more fun.

One of my other classmates who is also an offshore oil & gas engineer is the only 26 year old I know who went to the dealer with a check for a brand new one.
Other than that, maybe in like 10 years?... without kids? lol
(Btw, he's single, has no student loans, and is on the ocean 260/365 days a year)
Oh! and this week I learned the Boss 302 sounds a lot better than an LE1 (IMO)
