how you drive it. trackey only seems to make me want to push it a bit more...definitely likes big long downshifts which tends to eat up the gas.

Yessir!! I love the sound on the downshift exhaust noise with TK. I am disappointed when I dont hit red lights so I can downshift. But then I am also disappointed if I am not first at the light.

My mileage dropped from 16 to 12mpg. I verified that by going back the the white key and having the mileage go back up. I do notice that the exhaust burbles a lot more, so they must not be shutting off the fuel on decels.

I had mine done the day after I contacted the dealer. But they are a FRPP shop and that might make a difference.

I don't have Trackey but my idle is rough enough to shake the car at times. When I step on the gas, she goes like a banshee, so I'm pretty sure there nothing wrong.

Anyone living in/around SF Bay Area have a dealer that they recommend for Trackey installation?

2013 Boss 302 GHIG, bought 8-8-2012, ordered trackey 8-10-2012 Tuttle Click Ford, installed trackey 8-11-2012, after overnight UPS, arrived 11AM. One hour to download/install everything. Set shocks #4 in front, #3 in back. Removed Ca. side pipe baffles, and car transformed into "BEAST". Most of the "local competion", don't want to mess with it. A BMW M5 followed me home, so we gave it a stoplight to stoplight, and Boss won easily. Audi super coupe, Corvette, SS Camaro, and Challenger SRT8, also fell. In day, to day driving, trackey is a little radical. I'll save it for "recreational" driving, on weekend. Hwy. 74, Ortega Hwy.

So how much did your install cost to transform your beast? People been quoting between three to four hundred.

Just for the records:
I got my Trackey voucher before the winter and had it installed a couple of weeks ago.
The trick here in Germany: There are only 17 qualified dealerships across the country that can handle installation.
Installation took about 90 minutes to complete, cost me around 200Euros (~250USD).
Though the Nurburgring is only an hour away, I never got to try the TK yet.
If anyone here needs the list of dealerships, I am happy to send it by PM.

Ford Racing sells the Trackey package for $302.00, dealer install is about $125.00. A great value, IMO.

My dealer wanted the $302 for the TK and $109 to install. Ordered the TK from Tousley for $229.50 with shipping. Having it put on locally on Wednesday.

Did you place that order by phone or do they have a website?

I ordered it over the phone. Here is the thread that I heard about Tousley from:

Good luck.

I'm hoping to get my Boss next month, I am stationed at Aviano Italy and was wondering where to get the trackey installed. Do you know where the closest German dealer is to Italy? I'm not sue if the Italian dealers will be able to do it and I would prefer to go to a
dealer with experience.

Where in Germany are you?

I strongly recommend you drive a little farther to get the install done at a dealer that has already done them. I wasted 2 days w/o my Boss while the dealer sorted out the PC problems.

There are not many Bosses in Europe. Even though the first cars arrived in mid 2011, the largest Ford dealer in Cologne (home of Ford Germany) who did my Trackey programming had never seen a Boss before. I happened to find a Boss owner at the other end of the country last week, the first one ever. My guess is that there is only a dozen or so at best, with some 2013s just arriving.

My dealer studied the paperwork and programming procedure thoroughly before I arrived. I took him some 90 minutes to complete the programming on my car which is absolutely OK by me.

Right, you are in Germany, I read the posts. Just sayin', all thing being equal if you had the opportunity to get it done at a shop with experience with Trackey it would be worth the drive. My dealer studied the procedure too, but the problem here is, it's not a brake job. The version of Internet Explorer and all the various security settings and such can prevent the process of communicating with the car's ECU. If their PC/Laptop doesn't have the correct version of IE, with the right settings, it can take a whole lot longer than 90 minutes.

I learned way more about this than I ever wanted to as a result of the delays in getting mine programmed. Just trying to pass along what I had gone through first hand.
