Did you sit in another Mustang to verify the dealer's claim?

Took it to the local Ford dealer and the body shop guy said all the Mustangs have that problem, and he blamed it on the defog wiring grid in the glass. Since defog wiring grids have been around for at least 30 years, you have to wonder why Ford is having this problem in 2012.

Has anyone else noticed this, and does anyone know if Ford has a "Mustang problem" that everyone just accepts as normal?

I would like to move this past the local dealer - any idea who I should email?

Thanks in advance if you can help. Otherwise the Boss is a great car - just installed TK.
I have not noticed that in my Boss. But it is a pain to keep that rear window clean inside

But it could be because I'm too old, fat, arthritic, and stove up to get back there easily though.

Me too. I am always worried that I wont be able to get out when I climb back there to clean the glass :-)

I don't get back there unless there is someone else at home that can hear me calling for help, lest I get stuck back there and have to call the fire department. Pitiful.

Damned old people.

Thought this was a Trackey thread. How did it turn into a Rear window thread? Does the Trackey affect the rear window??

I have noticed when using TracKey that objects out the rear window get smaller very quickly so the distortion does not bother me

(does that tie-in get us back on topic?)

Hello Roamer,

Please PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, and contact info so I can review this for you.

Someone may have posted this question before, but does anyone with TracKey installed think there black key idle is rougher now? It may just be that I am more cognizant of the normal idle now trying to compare it to the red key idle

If you don’t feel it’s normal, phiggs54, bring it in to your dealer for diagnosis and PM me with your dealer, VIN, mileage, and contact info so I can help.
