TrackDay ButtonWillow 105 Degrees
BTW that shot is from the 9-10 straightaway. I'm going from about 140 down to about 60 to make Turn 10 with DTC70s up front and braking late so some dive is to be expected no matter what springs you are running.
Also been-there-done-that w/ rear tail wag under heavy braking. Just not enough weight back there to keep her steady. Not a problem...just part of the game.
On the SN95 four link rear suspension a torque arm makes a big difference in the back end pushing up under hard braking. If you watch these cars at the track from the side you can see it happening. The S197 chassis was a big improvement and rear end rise may not be as big as an issue.
The BAD: It was 90+ at the track. There were about 10 Bosses/LS's here. All went into LIMP MODE, after a couple of laps on the LONG 4+ mile long track!!!
The GOOD: A good ,cheap cure: "REMOVE the GRILL." All did the completed laps; NONE went into LIMP MODE!!!

It's a simple and cheap fix, but seems to be 100% effective at keeping the cooling system from overheating and going into limp mode.
