If you are interested, PM me. I've already packed it up in the box the MGT came in. I know FFRP lists the MBR radiator at $500. Make me an offer and I'll ship it out Monday

...and no, I'm not looking for $500. It has 1200 miles on it... Figure that is good for 50% off.

Last session of the day got in a bare knuckler with a GT3 and HEAVILY modded GT-R. It was a blast! My goal was to get into the 1:53s this weekend and the first 7 laps of this throwdown were all in the 1:53s! I led four laps then let the GT3 by and he was quickly pitching out the rear end trying to stay in front, then we let the GT-R up and he struggled in the corners, but would hit the straight and just be gone! Turns out he's making over 600 at the freaking tire. Anyway then we lapped the field and lap times slowed once we hit traffic, but I can't believe I dropped another 0.82 seconds. I'm now 2.07 seconds faster than the GT500 and I still don't have TracKey.

Now for temps. It got to 88F ambient and I was pushing 240 pretty consistently. At the end of the front straight I hit 248 twice but didn't get limp mode from heat. However, I did kickoff the P0300 on two sessions and got the flashing CEL and limp mode on two separate occasions Hitting these ECTs in 88F means I'll need the radiator. Definitely in for results from the 5th!!! It felt like I was getting timing pulled so even though I didn't get limp mode from heat, I am betting there's power loss.

Sounds like you're enjoying the car

What tires are you working with now? Staggered setup or square?

Staggered 305 rear 285 front. Put a hurt on the left front that last session so swapped side to side for tomorrow. Probably be into the Hoosiers Sunday and in need of two front Nittos to go with the rears.

So are you finding a tire setup close to the factory height work as good as a sticker tires that are much shorter?

Gary, when you got the light and limp mode, did you slow down, go to the pits, or just keep going?

Im going to Sear Point (Infineon) in a week, and I don't want to have to dive for pits this time.

Since I know what it is now I pushed through it. Cost me some time when I was chasing down this GT3 so was a little ticked. Power came back fairly quick.....maybe 10-15 seconds. I checked the codes at the end of the session and cleared it. No code the second time it happened but it came on during the cool down lap at the end of a 25 minute session so wasn't a big deal. Need TracKey.....

Might as well. I just hope I don’t get a GT3 up the tail pipe today. I'm sorry but my patience with CA(RB) has run out.

Didn't know it was capable of that. Leaving to pick up my car from the dealer in 20 mins! (No drivers to take the trailer it was on from the rail yard to the dealer yesterday as planned )

Have a blast Drew! Rained out of first session but drying out now. Wet VHT on the drag strip is suicide

Fast Entry to the main straight requires a lot of testicular fortitude at fir, especially if there was any water on the surface. Vht is no fun.
