I thought I would share how our 05 ran last week with a few simple mods. I know a lot of 05's are deep in the 12's (and faster) but here is another with our list of mods and timeslip.

05 GT 5 speed full weight nothing stripped except I did take out the spare tire.

C&L Air Intake
SCT X-Calibrator (programmed by us)
Mac Axleback mufflers
12.86@105 mph

That sums it up... We did run ET street tires on the stock wheels with the stock 3.55 gears.

I thought you all may like to see the info on one more GT in the 12's with a few simple parts. We hope you all love your 05 as much as we love ours. If you need any help with them just give us a call. We will continue to test parts on this car so we know exactly how good... or bad... they are.

574.834.7455, we supply all the parts listed.

Other than it being a 7-month old post, he says:

05 GT 5 speed

and

stock 3.55 gears.

Sounds like a manual to me.

A few parts plus an experienced driver. That is a key part also.

Could you tell us your launch technique as well as shift points to help the rest of us achieve those numbers.

Wow this was an old post. That was launching at 6000 rpms on sticky tires. Power shifting at around 6000 rpms. The tires would slightly spin which helped keep the rpms up on launch. I think it was around 15 psi of air. I always run 93 octane.

I am envious for sure. 6000 launch! I just know you have a spare clutch in your shop. I can smell it now. I would be happy with 12.99 with my auto. Maybe next year. Stallion in winter storage now.
