Well I talked to my dealer today and I am not getting an LS. He does not have one allocated. They have 3 stores in Texas and the other two are getting one but he is not. He was misinformed or they decided to take it from my small town and sell it at their larger stores, I don't know. The other stores are in Houston and Austin and they are already accepting offers so I'm out. I won't strip down my '07 for a regular Boss. Not that its not an awesome car, but its just not what I want. I wanted an LS to go with my R as a nice pair. Maybe I'll pick one up 10 years from now like I did with the R.

Or maybe I'll see what 2013 brings with the Boss.

Find out for yourself: Order a Boss and don't get the cover, then order it from parts, it may be cheaper, may be more, or might not get it at all. I don't care about a couple of $ either way so i ordered with the car as the owner said it's the only way to get a cover...done deal

Absolutely. I will be bringing my Canon with Speedlite flash Ill be getting a TON of pictures. Expect them around Sunday (or late Saturday night PST)

I've seen the CO in person, and it does pop. There was a 302 at the WWDC in both Kona Blue and Comp. orange. The CO one had the Recaro seats in it as well.

My choices are this:

Comp Orange w/ Black trim
Kona Blue w/ white
Yellow Blaze Metallic Tri-Coat (although I'd want the 'R' code - too $$$)

I currently have Vista Blue GT/CS. Love the color (Dodger Blue!!) but those Giants colors look soo good now (and I can't stand the Giants!).

Imagine the CO car running around town (I live in SF Bay Area) with Dodger license plates on...

The order guide specifies that the standard Boss option of a Torsen is bundled with the Recaro seats.

Despite what I said before, I ordered these. I'll enjoy them, and for the price offered, you can't beat em.

Take a look at this Corral.net thread on a good discussion of the rear differential and autocrossing - note various comments on a Torsen differential vs. other types. Your experience may vary, especially if you are first-time racer as opposed to someone who has run enough to continue to work on their suspension set-up to shave off tenths of a second.
