I am considering them for my Boss and wanted to hear some new feedback. How do you guys like them?

Thank you in advance!

Hello John,

Here is thread where you can see some of the consumer's responses that installed the springs. You can also see who installed them in case you need to PM them.

https://themustangsource.com/f813/ne...501907/index2/

Here is Kevin's response from out website:

Great product! Fit and finish are top-notch, and I can't believe the my BOSS 302 Laguna Seca corners even flatter than before! Nose dive under hard braking is considerably less, but the ride isn't compromised. It's right where I want the car to be for the track. Great job guys - thanks!

Kevin

Please pm me or visit Steeda.com to view our products.

Thank you

TJ

Hey thank you TJ! I would like to hear some more recent feedback now that more people have them and have had a chance to put some miles on them. Anyone?

John
I met up with a Boss owner @ the Dallas Boss GTG who installed the Boss Steeda springs.
AND
I drove the car to feel the difference, it was not harsh and reduced noise drive too.
I email him (no response yet)
I liked them....... so I too am researching the pros and cons Steeda vs others.

I'll probably do spring and cc plates at same time and money.

I plan to talk with Terry @ Vorshslag Open House tomorrow (Sat 3-9-12) to see what they are using too.

Hi all.
I went to Vorshlag open house yesterday with Shane M
Vorshlag had a tech check for NASA
We saw a few non-Mustang race cars.
surprised to see how many LS1 M3 being built
.......warning: LS1 BMW are going to be monsters on the track

Anyways, I saw where and how they build the cc plates.
Manufacturing all done in Plano (so built in the USA!!!!)
The redesign of the Mustang cc plates are underway and will be available in about a month or so. I'm going to TRY to be first in line.
Terry told me they sell a many many (IE thousands) of their BMW cc plates per year, and these cc plates NEVER wear out.

The good news is that Vorshlag cc plates will be track-side adjustable and the toe adjustment will be addressed at install/alignment time. Terry said the toe in will not change when you adjust for a track day. I liked what I heard.
Their cc plates will accept OEM, Steeda and Eibach springs.

I like the Steeda springs more and more as I put miles on the Boss. They really help refine a great car.

Now I will add that the springs make for an integral part of my suspension upgrade: springs, c/c plates, proper alignment for the track, and removal of unsprung weight (rims and brake rotors). The car now feels more stable to me during transitions - pitch/roll/yaw. I'm not waiting for the the car to settle or "plant" before applying my next input - throttle/brake/tiller.

These springs aren't perfect though. Maximum negative camber is limited to -2 degrees and the rake will be removed from the profile. Though the latter may not be so bad if someone's trying to get rid of the tire/wheel well gap. I for one like the raked muscle car look.

Like a lot of folks, I'm waiting to see what Ford Racing will come up with as far as suspension springs. I tell you what though, they better be one he!! of an improvement before I'll switch.

Thanks again to the folks at Steeda!

Thank you all for the updates! I'm very strongly considering the Steeda springs. Heck, I already have their LCAs, short shifter, and bushing so why not.

Do we know how much stiffer the Steeda springs are than OEM?
