So I found LS #749
Am I correct to assume that a total of 750 LS' were produced for 2012?
If so... I found the second to last.
I went to Brandon Ford right outside of Tampa because they had 3 Boss 302's sitting out front; Red/Black, Orange/Black and White/Black, and it was a rare opportunity to compare the 3 colors next to each other to see which I like best (still wanting to see Kona Blue in person...)
Anyways, the poor salesman comes over to "inform" me about the 2012 Boss 302, but was a lot more informed than I thought he'd be, a few little things here and there that he got wrong, but I'll give it to him. We started chatting about price, and was informed that all 3 of their Boss 302's had a $2,500 ADM, and their LS in the showroom has a $10,000 ADM. I kinda made a comment like "really? a lot of the dealers have been dropping their ADMs and just sticking with MSRP or less since they are readily available at a lot of dealers now", and he goes on to tell me that they are extremely rare and hard to find, yada yada yada. I then ask him how long they've been here, and he said a bit over 2 months, and I told him "that's why". lol.
So we go over to the showroom to check out the Black/Red LS, and he tell me that it comes with a roll cage (I think he meant rear-seat delete with cross brace) and starts saying how this is one of the last ones to be built. I didn't believe him and figured he was just rambling to make it seem like its the greatest deal on earth, so just to check what the number was myself, I poped the hood and saw #749 on the number plate! Pretty cool! I'm sure #750 has been reserved for Ford or a BJ auction, so this is probably the last one to roll off the line that's available to the public. Wish I had my phone on me, I would have snapped a pic of the number plate.
Oh, and by the time I left he said they need to move those Boss 302's since theyve been there for a while and that "he could probably work on the ADMs". haha, that didn't last long.
And, probably the funniest thing I've heard in a while... as I was walking out the sales manager comes up to see if there's anything he can do for me, and mentions the Sterling Gray Mustang RTR they have outside, and went on to inform me that it was built and designed by "Ken Griffey Jr., the drifter", hahahaha, I was dying.

Pretty cool, I'd like to see that many all parked together too.
As far as the last one, I dunno.........there is a guy not too far from me that just picked up a silver/red LS.................#755.
I've not seen this car but did see a pic of the number plate on another forum. Can someone explain this? Did they build more to make up for that train wreck?

They made 766 but stuck to the 3250 Boss cars. That's the US production.
All of the info can be found here.

You obviously didn't speak to Lyle Herb. He sold me mine and knows his business when it comes to these cars and GT500s.
Brandon Ford is a great dealership. I have bought my last 4 cars from them.

I would have gone directly to him if I was interested in buying at the time.
Definitely a cool dealership though; every Mustang you could want on that lot.

I drive by that dealership every day. Stopped in a couple of times to just look and they always ask me to trade in my Stang to get a newer one. Great people over there.

I live in Brandon/Valrico not far from a road called Lithia Pinecrest. lol. My poor Mustang is suffering from neglect. I know, I know, bad owner! But I would feel like crap bringing her around a club of nice Stangs. On an odd note, do you guys go to the Fantasy of Flight show in April as a club?

I've been wanting to go to that show since I found out about it. Do you meet up at the Loves gas station with all the others that go? I'm really aiming to get to the show this year and will definitely look out for you there.
