I too thought I might have missed a thread that Gary got his Boss. I guess he didn't post about it. Odd. It's okay. I didn't say anything for like a week when I got my GT500!

Sorry Jeff. It's been a busy day at work. I spent a couple hours on the car this morning at the dealer just trying to get things ready for an April 9th track day. I wrote it up and posted pics here:

I would recommend drilling the original orifice plate hole in the butterfly valves (5/16") - that way you get factory sidepipe sound when the valves are closed (or you can drill it out a little bigger if you want it a little louder), and full sound level when the valves are wide open.
Maybe Ford Racing can incorporate that into their part since it is a Boss-specific item.

What axle back system do you think would sound best with the open side pipes? For example the stock GT500 mufflers, Fr500s mufflers, or muffler deletes??

You need to figure this out stat and let me know what you choose I'm all about a good deep sounding car. The neighbors can deal with it!

I'll let you guys know about the GT500s as soon as my car gets here. I ordered a set of those mufflers in case the stock exhaust wasn't deep enough - all the time. Noise isn't really an issue around here.

Are the Corsa extreams any louder than the Borla ATAK? I'm looking for something loud for my 10 GT500. I asked if the ATAKs fit the 10 MY GT500 but haven't gotten a response yet. I hope they do.

Back when I had my '06 GT, I had put Flowmaster American Thunder axle backs on it. Made it sound a lot meaner, but wasn't by any means too loud. So I may end up going that same route this time...we'll see. It's cheaper and the sound was by no means bad. But then again, it depends on how loud you actually want to get

No oil pressure or temp. I'll have to get the sensor from Aeroforce and figure out where to install it if I want to have that. I'm displaying IAT and ECT along with A/F bank 1 and 2 right now. I haven't had a lot of time to mess with it yet. We must have a 192 t-stat in there I see. Wonder if there's a benefit to getting a 170 or 180? Without a handheld programmer, I'd have to see if Ford could reset the high and low speed fan settings.

Then get the Roush O/R axle-back......few of us with '10s have gotten them and they are awesome.
