the dust shields are in the front, but i totally forgot about the rear having them too. i am not running SS lines, a friend that tracks suggested changing to ss lines because the steel will help with overheating issues. are you running SS lines? i was thinking i had read they don't do much other than provide a firmer pedal on a mustang.

I would love that!!
I live in Vegas now but Lime Rock used to be my home track. I work on the east coast every summer and I have a 2013 Boss with a Feb build date and hopefully a March delivery.
If you guys are going to Lime Rock I would like to join you.

Harris Hill Road (San Marcos, TX)
1:32.610 on stock tires (8700 miles)
Like last time, I didn't do anything to my car except set the shocks (5 front, 3 rear), torque the wheels and adjust tire temps (41 psi hot). No brake pads or even brake fluid. I wanted a baseline time, before I start modding. Lap times recorded on an AiM Solo DL.

Limerock: 1:06.8 or so in a friend's '87.5 Audi Coupe with a 5 cyl 20 valve engine swap (170 crank hp). Fun car.
edit: Sorry not a Boss lap time, but hoping to bring the thread back a bit for some updates from others!

My latest lap time from Watkins Glen is 2.175. This is on the stock Pirelli P-Zero street tires. I think I can take another second or two off of that time too. Here is the video. Lap 12 and 13 are the fastest.

The only place I hit the rev limiter at the Glen is coming up out of the toe of the boot and that is only when I forget to shift fast as the r's come up quick there. I use 5th gear coming out of turn 1 and going down the front straight. If not, I would surely hit the rev limiter.

Yeah I grab 5th on the main straight and going into turn 2 so I have it for the eases. Need it in the boot and coming out of the carasoul (sp?) but it's not quite worth shifting then going right back to 4th in the braking zone. Another 500-800 rpm would be perfect at least with street tires.
