I say lets have a Limerock Boss get together come spring/summer!

I would love that!!

I live in Vegas now but Lime Rock used to be my home track. I work on the east coast every summer and I have a 2013 Boss with a Feb build date and hopefully a March delivery.

If you guys are going to Lime Rock I would like to join you.

I agree, Buttonwillow is big fun!! My favorite west coast track.

1:32.610 on stock tires (8700 miles)

Like last time, I didn't do anything to my car except set the shocks (5 front, 3 rear), torque the wheels and adjust tire temps (41 psi hot). No brake pads or even brake fluid. I wanted a baseline time, before I start modding. Lap times recorded on an AiM Solo DL.

Limerock: 1:06.8 or so in a friend's '87.5 Audi Coupe with a 5 cyl 20 valve engine swap (170 crank hp). Fun car.

edit: Sorry not a Boss lap time, but hoping to bring the thread back a bit for some updates from others!

Full course is different than grand course... Is the LS time you noted the grand course?

3:02 has to be grand course...

Here's my lap info though...but this was in a DE with some traffic and point by's...

My car is modded way past a stock LS too.

Yes really, I've been at VIR Full with DG and have clocked him in the 2:13's. Very quick times, my best is only 2:18.xx.

My latest lap time from Watkins Glen is 2.175. This is on the stock Pirelli P-Zero street tires. I think I can take another second or two off of that time too. Here is the video. Lap 12 and 13 are the fastest.

Having the higher revving motor helps a lot with 3.73's it seems. The regular GT redlining around 6800 ends up bouncing off the rev limiter in 4th in a couple places... not quite worth shifting to 5th.

Very fun!

The only place I hit the rev limiter at the Glen is coming up out of the toe of the boot and that is only when I forget to shift fast as the r's come up quick there. I use 5th gear coming out of turn 1 and going down the front straight. If not, I would surely hit the rev limiter.

Yeah I grab 5th on the main straight and going into turn 2 so I have it for the eases. Need it in the boot and coming out of the carasoul (sp?) but it's not quite worth shifting then going right back to 4th in the braking zone. Another 500-800 rpm would be perfect at least with street tires.

Wow, that's smokin. I can go sub 2:20 pushing it and have gone 2:16.xx once. I'd love to see your lines and mods. Maybe we can make each other faster.
