That was reported by a Ford Spokesperson at www.autonews.com
Ford Motor Co. has halted Mustang output because of a parts shortage unrelated to the Magna plant fire.

I guess that was my point. Just because they restart Mazda production doesn't look like it means they necessarily restart Mustang production.
Ford Motor Co. has halted Mustang output because of a parts shortage unrelated to the Magna plant fire.
I am no insider but I would bet they just said that because of the issue with Mazda. Just to take the heat off people questioning why problems with a Mazda would effect their Mustangs. If you look at BOF there is no mention of that and the info has been pretty close there.
Also while the Magna plant is running it is not 100% and they supply many parts for many cars.
