Mazda expects to resume production on the 14th - good news

I thought the Mustang line was down due to parts shortages unrelated to the Mazda supplier's fire.

I guess that was my point. Just because they restart Mazda production doesn't look like it means they necessarily restart Mustang production.

I am no insider but I would bet they just said that because of the issue with Mazda. Just to take the heat off people questioning why problems with a Mazda would effect their Mustangs. If you look at BOF there is no mention of that and the info has been pretty close there.

Also while the Magna plant is running it is not 100% and they supply many parts for many cars.

You would be correct. Parts shortage is not Magna related. I don't know if its out in the open which parts are in short supply though.
