LS Oil pressure sensor
I got the aeroforce interceptor w oil pressure sensor, but no Boss to put it in for a couple more weeks. I was thinking the LS might show me a good place to install the sensor. Have any of you seen where it is on the LS? Picture of the area around the oil filter would be great...
Thanks
Thanks

Very interested in this as well. I have the Aeroforce gauge in my A/C pod to primarily keep an eye on ECT, but would like to add the oil pressure sensor. Did you get the oil temp sensor as well?

No high pressure oil passages in the oil pan. I believe the smooth black surface to the left is the back side of the alternator.
According to what I see on the Ford parts web site, it screws into the oil filter adapter, which is actually a plate mounted to the side of the engine block.

PTRocks - thanks for the pic. I hope there are a couple unused ports into the oil system..

One of the nice things about the Aeroforce gauge is you can set up what they call the "annunciator". It will flash two red lights when you exceed or drop below a certain parameter. e.g. I have my ECT set to go off above 240 degress. You can also use it as a shift light and set if for a certain RPM. It will allow you to program two parameters. You'll get used to scanning your gauges when in the straightaways after a little more seat time.

Yeah you can ignore the speedometer...just focus on checking the system gauges on the main straight to make sure everything is OK with the car.
