they woudl just trim that close, if you can get stripes like mine (on my 10 = super snake all the way down bumpers) for $400, i would bet the vinyl roof is half that. How's the JL stuff BTW?

Install of sub and amp scheduled for next Saturday.

3m vinyl sheet for roof is $50 in eBay.

Is it wide enough so you won't have a seam? Can you please post the link?

OT FYI

BNSF Locomotives, from the last few years, are using Black Tape on Logo & Numbers, that turns white when other Locomotives or automobiles lights shine on them at night...

The plot thickens ...

The decal place does not want to touch my car, they say it is more liability then it is worth and they worry since the stripes were added shortly after the paint it may not come off well. In any case I will need to check around more.

I have a few options but any opinions on this?

Paint the roof yelllow, change out the spoiler and paint the deck lid (on top) flat black, replace the hood sticker with flat black ..... but leave the side stripes as they are, shinny. At first I thought it may look stupid but now I think it may be OK. Everything (taillight panel, trunk lid, louvers, hood stripe and spoiler) on top flat and the side stickers original.

I photoshopped my car with a black roof ... I wasn't really digging it so I'm having second thoughts ...

Now you have no excuse not to change your Boss. 89 bucks! I would really like to see some movement on this Mr. AllTalk and no action just because "I don't have my car yet"

Ha! I've come to two conclusions. After looking at several KB cars on lots I've determined KB is too dark for black stripes for me. Also after seeing a red/white Boss the white roof is going to be fine and although it may look like a police interceptor at least it doesn't look like a glass roof. I do think a white rear spoiler on the white stripe cars would look terrific.

I sent them a message about the hood decal, if they can make it I will just do it myself (depending on price).

The white spoiler is what this color combo needed, it ties it front to rear for a better balance, definitely more eye catching/pleasing.-->

If it were mine, I would add the Black LS wheels to tie in the whole package, the black stock wheels still are a bit to black for the white trim-->IMO.

I have been told by a Ford knowlegable source, marketing came to the same conclusion. Thus white stripes on Kona...

I'm picking up my KB Boss tomorrow (used with 100k CPO)
I really like this picture.
I found a black C stripes but not the black hood decal (with black pinstripe around)
has anyone does this yet?....I might be first one?
I leaning glossy black stripes and paint glossy black roof to match the rims and rear spoiler..

There is a guy on ebay that has the stripe kits. I'd also do gloss black to match the wheels and spoiler. While I was originally hot to change the color once I got my car that idea quickly faded. The white roof really sets the car off and I now like it. I got rid of the high gloss black wheels and spoiler within two weeks of owning my Boss. I have thought of using the same material on the sterling grey 2013 LS stripes to redo my car but I doubt I'll ever do it.
