#315 is chrome.

 

Hey are the black ones dull like plastic? Because my 2010 GT has black chromed ones. Not bright chrome and not flat black like the surrounding plastic.

 

mine are shiny black plastic...hence the reflection

 

#516 is chrome

 

We are talking about black as is same black as the plastic it is molded in.. No chrome plating at all.

Does your 2010 GT have the black chrome grille pony? It might explain why you have black chrome in the headlamp around the turn signals. That right there brings up another variation I have never heard mentioned before.

Yes it did have the black chrome pony I forgot about that since I took that grill off a long time ago. So a third deviation exists a black chrome, a silver chrome and a black plastic.

 

Okay so this explains the two different halogen headlamp assembly choices listed in the parts catalogs starting with 2010. There is standard bright chrome and optional black chrome. The all black did not show up until the 2012 model year.

 

i dont have a boss but i have a 2012 cali special built july 22
it has the chrome bezels. dont know if this helps or not.

 

I want a set of black plastic ones. Would anyone happen to have the actual part numbers?
